I am doing good, busy, but good! I have been thinking over the past week on how to write this post, because it is hard for me, but it is something I have to do. I have decided to stop blogging for a while, maybe permanently, I'm not sure yet. Reasons for this decision range from a bit of blogging burnout, to just being busy with work and family. I feel truly sad as I write this, because I have loved blogging and in the process made connections to so many people. I will still be in touch on Facebook and if we are not friends on Facebook, I will visit your blogs as often as I can to keep in touch. Thank you for always supporting me on this blog. You helped me so much when I wrote about the harder times in my life with your kind words and thoughts and really carried me through those hard times. You also delighted in my happy and joyful times, and for all of those reasons, you will always be in my heart. Take care and I'm not going to really say goodbye, because goodbye seems like a permanent end to knowing each other, and I hope that is not the case. Think of it as "So Long" from here-for now!
Janet :)

Love & Kisses to you!
I'm doing good. We survived the big blizzard with no problems, and tomorrow more snow is on the way! We only lost our power for about 20 minutes. My poor daughter and her family lost their power for three days! The power outages were all around us and many people went for days without power. I felt so bad for everyone who got stuck in that situation, and at the same time I was so grateful that we were speared! The snow may not look that deep in the pictures from my backyard, but actually there are a concrete turtle and bird that are in the sand area that my grandkids play in that stand about a foot high, and you cannot even see them! It did turn out to be the 5th biggest storm we have ever had in this area. I hope you enjoyed your Valentines Day as much as I did, with lot's of love around you. Along with these pictures from my week, I want to leave you with these words of inspiration. I feel nothing but content with my life these days, even in times of challenges, I know I'll always come out on the other side ok, stronger. I'm sure many of you feel the same. Have a great week ahead!
I am doing good. I'm hunkering down today for the big Blizzard of 2013 that is about to hit the east coast. I hear they are calling it Nemo, why they gave it a name, I'm not sure. Something to do with giving it a personality I read. How a fish named Nemo and a blizzard go together is beyond me! Anyway, I am considered a nonessential state employee, so luckily I got the day off to stay home and stay safe. Most folks around here are staying home as well. If I don't lose my power, I'll post some photos on Sunday of the after effects of this Storm. Thankfully I've got my Bread and Milk too, so no sweat there lol! But all kidding aside, if your in the area, I hope your hunkered down and staying safe! To my friends enjoying better weather, I hope you have a great weekend!
A powerful storm expected to bring driving winds and more than 2 feet of snow to the Northeast, along with the potential for coastal flooding, touched down early Friday morning, canceling thousands of flights in its wake.

Blizzard warnings were in effect from New Jersey through southern Maine, with Boston expected to bear the brunt of the massive storm that could set records. The day began with light snow and winds that were due to pick up with much heavier snowfall by afternoon.

Officials urged residents to stay home, rather than risk getting stuck in deep drifts or whiteout conditions.

Boston and surrounding communities said schools would be closed on Friday, and city and state officials told nonessential city workers to stay home. Businesses were urged to let staff work from home or shorten schedules.

"Accumulation is expected to be swift, heavy and dangerous," Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick told reporters. "I am ordering all nonessential state workers to work from home (Friday)
I am doing good. I had a good week, just going about my usual routine, nothing too exciting to write about. Although, I was quite excited to finally get my first paycheck that I had to wait three weeks for! So this weekend I splurged on some Chinese food for me and my guys. Along with helping to pay the bills, it feels really good to be able to do things like that for them. I've been watching the Superbowl tonight and I decided to cheer for the San Francisco 49ers because the Ravens beat out the Patriots in the playoffs. The game is getting really good now in the 4th quarter, the 49ers are making a great comeback, I hope they can keep it up! The commercials are always a big thing of course. I thought some of them this year were pretty funny. In case you didn't get to see them, I thought I would share my picks for the funniest with you. I hope you enjoy a laugh or two. Have a great week my friends.
How I miss blogging as much as I use to, but I'm following some good advice from Sandee and just blogging on the weekends for now. My work schedule includes three days a week that I work from 7:30 am to 3:30pm, which means I have to leave the house by 6:45 am. So by the time I get home, cook dinner, take care of some chores around the house, get a walk in on my treadmill, I'm just about ready to hit the hay to get up and do it all over again. I just can't seem to stay up as late as I use to and do anything else I wish to do, must be the middle aged years creeping up on me lol! But that's ok, it is what it is, maybe the more I do it, the more I'll get use to it without getting too tired. Sadly the Patriot's did not make it to the Superbowl this year, but we had a great day watching the playoff game. My brother in law who has the Cancer came over and was in great spirits. He has been fighting his cancer with amazing strength and courage that I have never seen in anyone. A few months ago we did not even think he would still be here with us during the playoff season. I just found out his Doctor has told him that he has never seen anyone walking around with a Cancer count as high as his. So between the Chemo therapy and his will to live, he is beating the odds against him. I almost feel like I am witnessing some type of miracle in the works. And just as I wrote that last sentence, it made me think of this song by Sarah McLachlan, Building A Mystery. It's a mystery to me, but a good mystery. Now all we can do is pray it continues for as long as possible! Now I'm going to enjoy doing nothing for the rest of the weekend. Yup, just some r & r. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend with whatever you have going on. I'll catch up with you next week, or you never know, maybe even sooner.
Thanks for visiting,
The first week at my new job went really well. The work is very easy and the people are lighthearted, funny and kind. Sadly though I'm finding it is hard to keep up with my blogging while I work full time, but I'll give it my best effort. I would miss all my blogging friends if I did not blog and hear from you. I'll do my best as well to keep up with your blogs too! Tonight I watched the premiere of Season 3 of An Idiot Abroad. It was so funny, so I had to share some clips with you. I think it is going to be their best season yet! I'll be enjoying more good TV this weekend as we watch our favorite football team, the Patriot's battle the Ravens to get to the Superbowl with some friends and family, and of course good snacks! Yes indeed, all in all a good weekend!
I am doing great! This week I will be starting a new Chapter in my life with a new job. I hope to be able to work there until I retire. Thinking about retirement, got me thinking about starting my middle aged years. Much to my surprise I am loving them. Growing up I always thought life would become boring and dull as I grew older, that all that is "good" about life should have only happened in my youth. But now I know I was wrong in thinking that way. I am truly at a place of peace, and contentment with all that I have at this point in my life. I am also ok with all of the mistakes I made too. All our life experiences good and bad eventually make us who we are meant to be. Wendy's article explains perfectly why I'm feeling the way I do, as I'm sure many of you who have reached your middle ages feel too.
Ten Ways Life Gets Better as We Get Older

One of the great discoveries as we age is how much better life gets, once we have started mastering the skills of living well. Acknowledging these gains and recognizing the specific advantages that accrue gives them even more heft.

1. Our confidence grows. Youth is a time of searching and insecurity, trying to figure out how to live, and as time passes we gather more and more certainty about our own aims and preferences. We become less interested in comparing ourselves to others, having slowly gained an internal compass.

2. Our self-knowledge increases. An expanding awareness of our strengths and vulnerabilities helps us endure difficult times with more equanimity. We are not buffeted around so much by other people's opinions about the choices we make and our overall sense of what we should do with our lives. It becomes a pleasure to stand our ground in tricky situations, not out of stubborn pride but because we finally know who we are.

3. We get better at relationships. One of the most significant skills gained with age is employing what we have learned about ourselves in how we conduct our relationships. With intimate partners, especially, self-knowledge allows us to be more open about our weaknesses as we try not to repeat the same mistakes we've made in the past. We appreciate the loyalty of true friends more and more, having less patience for superficial relationships.

4. We handle decision-making, the crossroads of life, with less frenzy. Gradually, the hard-earned benefits of hindsight start to add up. We see where we went wrong earlier on, allowing our past mistakes to inform our present situation. We can assess the pro's and con's of complex choices on the basis of our lived experience, rather than having to guess about the implications of taking one path rather than another.

5. Our courage becomes nimble and diverse. Having gotten through hard times and come out the other side, we are less afraid of adversity. We know how crucial it is to seize contentment whenever we can find it, rather than standing at the sidelines waiting for the best opportunities. We know that life consists of compromises, mixed with a bit of luck and risk, and there is no time like the present.

6. We become more interested in others. Generosity begins to occupy a central place in how we regard the value of what we do. As the decades pass, we find that we need to contribute to the greater good more than our own self-betterment. We become more sympathetic toward others, having found that we all face the same fundamental predicaments.

7. Our spirituality deepens. The search for meaning goes on throughout the lifespan, but in our later years such questions become more urgent and begin to take precedence. Meanwhile, petty concerns recede to their rightful place in the background. Going through bereavement wakes us up to the spiritual domain in a manner that shows us what really matters in life.

8. We become more vivacious. The real action in life is interior. The body slowly deteriorates, but the soul expands. When we are young, we look at elders and cannot see the exciting developments going on inside. The most lively people are those who have death in sight and so are determined to live life to the fullest.

9. We slow down and see further. The radiance that can often be seen in elders comes from becoming more alive. Once we stop hurrying so much, we develop a quality of attentiveness that adds new dimensions to our experience. It takes time to accept the body's imperative to slow down, but once we do we are able to access the quadrant of life where ordinary freedoms are cherished.

10. Unexpected pleasures become abundant. Awareness of our mortality conveys immediacy in everything we do. We no longer squander our time, because time is the currency that has become more precious. This is our one and only life, and we recognize this more keenly than ever before. Our receptivity to joy is wide open.
Some words of encouragement to remember the next time life throws you off track. God knows I've been thrown off track a few times, but for right now I can happily say everything is right on track, and I hope it stays there!
Being the New Year, and knowing that many of us choose to lose a couple of pounds as a New Years Resolution, I thought you would like to know about these superfoods too. I am going to try these to help me lose those last 10-20 pounds, that never seem to go away, no matter how much I try walking them off! I'll let you know if they work for me. If you use them, let me know if they work for you as well!
Have a great day,
Janet :)

As a nutritionist and naturopathic doctor, I firmly believe that weight loss starts with a healthy, well-rounded Alkaline Diet and exercise, but there are a few superfoods that have been studied and show that they can give you an added boost to help your weight loss efforts and help burn fat fast! Below, I’ve outlined my “Fantastic Four” superfoods that will help rev up your metabolism and much, much more!

Add all four of these superfoods to your diet, combine with a little exercise, lots of water, and a reasonable healthy high water diet, and you’ll see dramatic results. The reason why I recommend taking all four superfoods together is that they each leverage different mechanisms of action to support healthy weight control – it’s like quadrupling your weight loss efforts!

Additionally, I would like to add that all of these are simply food, so for the most part, you don’t need to worry about taking too much. When people ask if they can take too much of these superfoods, it’s like asking can I eat too much garlic or parsley, no, you can never have too much garlic or parsley. Also, I often get asked if I can take these superfood supplements together, and I say, would you ask me if you can mix garlic and parsley? Remember, these are all-natural foods, feel free to consume and enjoy, and always listen to your body – it will tell you whether you need to turn your dosage up or down.

1. Caralluma Fimbriata
In a recent clinical trial conducted by the Western Geriatric Research Institute, Caralluma Fimbriata was found to significantly suppress appetite, reduce waist circumference and increase weight loss in adults who took the supplement over a 4 week period. On average, the participants lost 7.5 pounds and 2 inches off of their waist circumference.
Caralluma Fimbriata contains important phytochemicals that may block the enzymes responsible for breaking down and producing fatty acids in the body. When these enzymes are blocked, they can’t form fat, which in turn makes the body go to its fat stores for energy. In the weight management world, I consider this to be one of nature’s best kept secrets for anyone who is looking to put their weight loss efforts into overdrive! When purchasing Caralluma Fimbriata – be sure to look for a 10 to 1 extract (10:1)

2. Moringa
Also known as “The Miracle Tree,” this amazing superfood has been called the most nutritious tree on the planet because it contains more vitamins, minerals and protein per ounce than practically all of our everyday favorite healthy foods such as spinach, carrots, bananas and eggs! The nutrient content of the Moringa tree is incredible!
• 2 x more Protein than an egg
• 9 x more Protein than yogurt
• 10 x more Vitamin A than carrots
• 26 x more Iron than spinach
• 15 x more Fiber than wheat
• 10 x more Calcium than milk
• 15 x more Potassium than bananas
• The list of healthy foods that Moringa outperforms is literally pages and pages long! The B-Complex Vitamins found within the Moringa leaf support healthy metabolism and energy levels during your time of weight loss.

3. Green Coffee Bean
Over the course of recent study, the subjects lost an average of 17 pounds each – this was 10 percent of their overall body weight and 16 percent of their overall body fat! That is very compelling information, and one reason why I think that Green Coffee Bean could be an effective solution against the obesity epidemic that is plaguing our country.

I also wanted to take a moment to warn my readers that unfortunately all of the attention on the Green Coffee Bean has brought about numerous unscrupulous people, companies, and individuals who know nothing about health and natural wellness to jump on the bandwagon and sell products that do not contain actual chlorogenic acids that are critical to make Green Coffee Bean actually work. To find the real Green Coffee Bean that works click on the link to the pure health website below.

4. Raspberry Ketone
The Ketones are an all-natural phenolic compound that stimulate the release of fatty acids from our fat cells, which are burned by the body as fuel, which his why I have named it the “Great Fat Liberator.” As an added bonus, the Ketone is the element responsible for the aroma and sweet smell of the Red Raspberry, and it’s believed that this characteristic also gives the Ketones the propensity to suppress appetite
I could write about the high and lows of the year, but I thought I would let Jib Jab sing about it instead! Personally I think the best thing that happened to all of us this year is that the Mayan's got it wrong, we did not cease to exist (not that I believed in it anyway!) So bring on 2013, with no doomsday predicted, all in all, it should be a great year lol!
I enjoyed the day with my family and especially the grand kids because they were so excited with what Santa had brought them! Last night I watched the Kennedy Center Honors and was brought back to my teenage years as they paid tribute to Led Zepplin. I can't remember how many slow dances I danced to Stairway to Heaven at the school dances, or how many times my girlfriends and I sat around listening to their albums, but I do remember how much their music moved me through those years. Here are the highlights of the tributes to them for any of you who are fans and missed the show. I think the video of Stairway To Heaven will leave you with goosebumps too.

In a performance that had Robert Plant on the verge of tears, Ann & Nancy Wilson of Heart sang ‘Stairway to Heaven’ as the finale of a star-studded musical tribute to Led Zeppelin during the Kennedy Center Honors. The Wilson sisters were joined by the late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham’s son Jason on drums, making the tribute all the more endearing.
I came across this post on a website called the Thought Catalog. Even though I am feeling quite happy these days, I got a kick out of Ryans humorous, yet true ways, to make ourselves happy. I especially agree with his #1 way. I hope you get a kick out of them too!

1. Go out with your friends and stay sober. I know it sounds POSITIVELY INSANE but everybody needs a reminder that they can let their hair down without puking all over it later on in the night. This past weekend I went out three nights in a row and managed to stay sober the entire time. And guess what? It felt good. I stayed out till 4 a.m. dancing and actually met new people (instead of just eyeing them in the corner with a look of intense longing on my face) and I even had more energy than I would have if I had been drunk. It’s embarrassing how revelatory the whole experience was (“YOU MEAN I CAN HAVE FUN WITHOUT DRINKING? BABE?”) but I think we all forget it at some point. The best part, obviously, is no hangovers. That’s a drug in itself.

2. Take a bath. With bath salts. Lots of bath salts. (Not the hallucinatory kind, silly.) I don’t know shit about shit when it comes to taking care of myself but I’m a staunch believer in taking a bath with epsom salts. You feel completely drugged afterwards and your limbs feel like spaghetti. It’s guaranteed to put you in a better mood or, at the very least, sedate you to the point where you no longer care about anything.

3. Make out with someone. THIS IS NOT HARD TO DO. Getting laid is a more difficult endeavor and can often yield unsatisfactory results but a good make out sesh is the equivalent of eating chocolate cake from Weight Watchers. There’s a 99% chance you won’t regret it even if it ends up tasting like shit.

4. Stop going to your #dark place. The older you get, the more happiness becomes a conscious decision you have to make every day. You can’t expect to automatically feel good when you wake up. It’s something you have to work toward. Actually, at a certain point, everything becomes a job. Staying fit, balancing career and relationships, monitoring your partying. The maintenance on simply existing is exhausting and usually doesn’t come with health insurance but if you don’t take care of yourself, the alternative is so much worse.

5. So I do this thing where I’m never satisfied. Ever. With every personal and professional accomplishment I achieve, I’m always like, “Okay, what’s next?” It’s a miserable way to be and something I’m actively working on changing. I think, as a culture, we always place emphasis on what we don’t have, which is why we always feel inadequate, which is why when you go to a party, the first thing someone asks you is, “SO WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?’ And if you’re not comfortable with where you’re currently at, the answer will send you down a thousand shame spirals and then, oops, here you are feeling depressed at what should be a joyous event! It’s not easy but it’s imperative for your happiness that you stop and smell the hydrangeas (I HATE ROSES) every once in a while. Otherwise, you’re going to be Les Miserables the rest of your life.

6. Hang out with your friend, the one who makes the most sense, the one you don’t have to try for, the one you’re able to just deflate with. Go out to a restaurant that feels warm and order everything on the menu because it’s Kirstie Alley time and drink nice wine and talk and talk and talk. A long dinner with your best friend is like a thousand brain orgasms. It reminds you of how little you actually need to be happy.

7. Feed your brain. Treat it like a plant you have to water. Go see a thoughtful movie by yourself on a Sunday afternoon, linger at a bookstore and read a novel in the corner. Are you sensing a pattern here? In order to be happy, you have to treat yourself with respect. You have to treat yourself the same way you would a best friend or a lover. (Well, maybe not a lover. I’ve treated a lot of those like shit.) What’s that golden rule? Treat others how you want to be treated? LOL! As if. It’s usually the other way around. People seem to treat others with more regard than they do for themselves. So, let’s remix that golden rule, shall we? Value yourself. Practice self-love. All that good stuff.
Yesterday I was offered a permanent position with the State Of Massachusetts! I can't believe I actually got it, they are hard jobs to get. The best part of getting this job is that it is Union, so it's gives me a little extra job security. I will now have full benefits and a retirement income too. The pay will allow me to finally pay off those student loans that have been hanging over my head and still be able to help support my family. So yes indeed, I am doing a Happy Dance today, think of a reason to do a Happy Dance yourself and join me lol!
Have a great day,
Urban Dictionary: Happy Dance
A dance in which one shakes their arms, frantically open and closes their mouth while moving the upper half of their body left and right repetitively. Moving your eyes as high as you can may be included. This is all done as fast as one can. The result is a happy dancer.Janet Gardnerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08655146770794074362noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1095372539901904614.post-22722037111598755722012-12-14T23:41:00.001-05:002012-12-15T23:33:36.707-05:00Holy InnocentsHello, Today an unimaginable tragedy occurred here in New England. I sit here tonight as a Mother, Grandmother, feeling devastated for all the victims. I'm sure many of you are feeling the same. I know Mental Illness, because I grew up with a Mother who suffered for years with psychotic episodes, sometimes violent episodes as well. So on days like this, when I'm reminded that someone is capable of killing children in their psychotic state, an issue that I was not aware of when I was younger, I Thank God even more so, that my siblings and I survived her episodes. I'm just coming to terms with what could have been at those times in mine and my siblings life. I know that because of my personal experiences, that I truly feel empathy for the ones who survived. I know their lives will never be the same, they will never be the same, but I have also learned that with the right support and therapy they can go on to live a healthy life. If you care to send a letter or card of support to the victims I included the address below, but most of all I ask that if you pray, pray that they do find the strength to begin their healing.
Twenty children died today when a heavily armed man invaded a Newtown, Conn., elementary school and sprayed staff and students with bullets.

The gunman, identified as Adam Lanza, 20, was found dead in the school.

Lt. Paul Vance said 18 children died in the school and two more died later in a hospital. Six adults were also slain, bringing the total to 26.

In addition to the casualties at the school, Lanza's mother Nancy Lanza was killed in her home, federal and state sources told ABC News.

According to sources, Lanza shot his mother in the face, then left his house armed with at least two semi automatic handguns, a Glock and a Sig Sauer, and a semi automatic rifle. He was also wearing a bullet proof vest.

Lanza drove to Sandy Hook Elementary School and continued his rampage, killing 26 people, authorities said. He was found dead at the school. It appears that he died from what is believed to be a self inflicted gunshot wound. The rifle was found in his car.
A Prayer To The Holy Innocents

Holy Innocents, you died before you were old enough to know what life means, pray for all children who die young that God may gather them into His loving arms.

Holy Innocents, you were killed because one man was filled with hatred, pray for those who hate that God may touch their hearts and fill them with love.

Holy Innocents, you experienced a violent death, pray for all who are affected by violence that they may find peace and love.

Holy Innocents, your parents grieved for you with deep and lasting sorrow, pray for all parents who have lost young children that God may wrap a warm blanket of comfort around them.

Holy Innocents, those around you certainly felt helpless to prevent your deaths, pray for all who feel helpless in their circumstances that they may cling to God for courage and hope.

Holy Innocents, you who are now in Heaven, pray for all of us that one day we may join you there to bask in God's love forever.
Amen
I have really been enjoying this Christmas season with the grand kids. They are at such a fun age, 2 & 5. Between sleepovers and making Christmas Cookies, to Christmas Parties and seeing Santa, it feels like non stop fun. Then the fun continues tonight when I go to Briana's first school event for family and build a Gingerbread house with her. Christmas is always a magical time, but through the amazement of children, it reinforces the magic and wonder of it even more so! I hope you are enjoying the season as well.
Thanks for visiting,
I am doing good. On Thursday of last week my temporary position at the Commonwealth Of Mass in Carver Ma came to an end. Everyone was so kind and had a little gathering with coffee and cake to say goodbye and thank me for helping them out over the past few months. I would have loved to stay there permanently, but the budget for their part in the Commonwealth just won't allow for that right now. Then life steps in, and once again offers me hope. On Friday I had an interview for a permanent job with the Commonwealth Of Mass in another area of their organization. So far all indications are that I did really well in the interview and they liked me. One thing I can say about myself, with all the job interviews I have been on in the past two years, is that I have become a professional at them!, and I no longer worry when I have to go to one! So when I read this daily affirmation by Louise today it really fit me. The more I go through situations in my life, the more I am learning to keep a positive attitude and accept that right now is perfect, whole and complete. That even though I need to do my part, the infinity of life will lead me to what's meant to be! I hope this affirmation helps you to realize that in your life too.
Have a great day,
Janet :)
"In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole and complete. I believe in a power far greater than I am that flows through me every moment of every day. I open myself to the wisdom within, knowing there is only One Intelligence in this Universe. Out of this One Intelligence comes all the answers, all the solutions, all the healings, all the new creations. I trust this Power and Intelligence, knowing that whatever I need to know is revealed to me, and that whatever I need comes to me in the right time, space and sequence. All is well in my world."
It's been a while, I'm not who I was before
You look surprised, your words don't burn me anymore
Been meaning to tell you, but I guess it's clear to see
Don't be mad, it's just the brand new kind of me
Can't be bad, I found a brand new kind of free

Careful with your ego, he's the one that we
should blame
Had to grab my heart back
God know something had to change
I thought that you'd be happy
I found the one thing I need, why you mad
It's just the brand new kind of me

It took a long long time to get here
It took a brave, brave girl to try
It took one too many excuses, one too many lies
Don't be surprised, don't be surprised

If I talk a little louder
If I speak up when you're wrong
If I walk a little taller
I'd be known to you too long
If you noticed that I'm different
Don't take it personally
Don't be mad, it's just the brand new kind of me
And it ain't bad, I found a brand new kind of free

Oh, it took a long long road to get here
It took a brave brave girl to try
I've taken one too many excuses, one too many lies
Don't be surprised, oh see you look surprised

Hey, if you were a friend, you want
to get know me again
If you were worth a while
You'd be happy to see me smile
I'm not expecting sorry
I'm too busy finding myself
I got this
I found me, I found me, yeah
I don't need your opinion
I'm not waiting for your ok
I'll never be perfect, but at least now i'm brave
Now, my heart is open
And I can finally breathe
Don't be mad, it's just the brand new kind of free
That ain't bad, I found a brand new kind of me
Don't be mad, it's a brand new time for me, yeahJanet Gardnerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08655146770794074362noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1095372539901904614.post-20804532762026525922012-11-24T23:47:00.001-05:002012-11-24T23:47:51.177-05:00Along Your PathwayHello, A good reminder for all of us, especially during the holiday season, because we often get so caught up in ourselves and our own stuff that we forget there are others who may be in need of help along their pathway.
