Moving On

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well. I am doing pretty good. Yesterday was a little hard. Larry asked me to come over and start clearing out some of Elsie's belongings. It is hard enough to believe that she is gone, but then to start clearing out what is left of her is heartbreaking. But we have to do what we have to do. I am psyched for the Celtic's. They are now 2 games up on the Lakers. Brown did not get his crown, maybe next year we will have a triple crown winner. It has been so hot around here the past couple of days, in the 90's. I am staying cool though. Thank God for AC. I hope you all have a good day. Thanks for visiting my blog. I posted the third part of the article I have been sharing with you. I hope you like it. Talk to you tomorrow.

Janet :)

When we awaken from sleep, there is a shift in our frame of reference. This seems to be true of the other forms of awakening (to and from,...), as well. The world of deep sleep, and our dreams, is separate from the real world, according to our experience of everyday life, and we usually regard dreams as less than real (with good reason), but this doesn't mean that our waking perception of the mundane world shows us all that's real, either. Reality encompasses far more than the eye can see, and yet more than exists as touchable matter or measurable energy. We all know this innately, because we too are more than we seem, but it's only by developing finer scientific instruments to measure things, that we're finally able to prove it. The problem is that some of what we are discovering runs counter to what we expected to find, based upon conventional reasoning, and this makes it difficult to explain. The universe is so full of surprises, and life, in its endless diversity, strives to defy the imagination (and often succeeds). We've missed so very much, because we haven't been able to detect or measure it, and we are still missing the point of much of what we have already learned (in my opinion), because reality is not quite what we expect it to be.

  1. Hi Janet ~ the article on dreams is so along what I am trying to identify and understand - the limit for me is the three-dimensional nature of our world. In order to appreciate dimensions beyond our experience, we have to go beyond our own concepts of 'reality' as you so adroitly state.

Don't worry too much about clearing up and sorting Elsie's things - it can be a very happy time and when I did it for Christina, I found myself looking at books and letters she had written and feeling very close to her. She will be with you, so smile and enjoy it as much as you can.
