Disabled?

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well. I am doing good. I got to spend time with my granddaughter yesterday which is alot of fun. I am working this week for someone on vacation. I really enjoy my work I realized today. I feel the best gift I got from my mother was compassion towards the "disabled" as society labels them. All you have to do is treat them as you would anyone else. It is that simple. There may be difficult days, but then they need you the most. I heard a saying once that I really liked. Sometimes the less broken have to help the more broken. In other words we all have a so called disability if you think about it. We cannot as human beings have the ability to be perfect in every aspect of our lives. So it's as if we all are disabled, just some more than others. I hope you understand that, it just came to me as I was writing. I found this poem I wanted to share with you all. Thanks for visiting my blog,
Take Care,
Janet :)
A Cleansing Blessing
I cleanse myself of all selfishness, resentment, critical feelings for my fellow beings, self-condemnation, and misinterpretation of my life experiences.

I bathe myself in generosity, appreciation, praise and gratitude for my fellow beings,self-acceptance, and enlightened understanding of my life experiences.

  1. That is so true and wise ~ we are all broken in some way...the more broken the more precious.
