I have Learned

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all having a good weekend. The Red Sox's are doing it again. After tonight we will be heading to the World Series again. Notice how I did not write hopefully or maybe. It is so weird to write again after us fans suffered throughout an 86 year drought and the curse. It is good to be able to write that though. I added a couple of new features, the fortune cookie and useless information. I will see how they are and If they are any good I will keep them. I got taken out to eat last night for my birthday by the hubby. We went to a place that is right on a pond, very nice view. Tomorrow I'm turning 45 years young. I don't feel like I am getting older, I feel I am getting better throughout the years. Like a fine wine. LOL!

What I have learned during my 45 years.
I have learned that time with our loved ones is precious. Enjoy every moment with them, before you know it time has passed and they are gone, never to have those moments again.
I have learned that I am stronger than I thought I was.
I have learned to survive the darkest days and hold onto hope that soon I will see the light around the bend.
I have learned that life will not always go your way, so learn to go its way.
I have learned that mistakes are gifts from above to keep us teachable.
I have learned that friendships carry us when we cannot walk.
I have learned that children will complete us.
I have learned there is no such thing as a "Disabled Person". Just a person who developed differently from the norm.
That they should not be hidden away, but brought out and celebrated for the unique individuals they are.
I have learned the less broken sometimes have to fix the more broken.
I have learned to appreciate the sunshine on my face.
The sun sparkle through the leaves.
The beauty of the sky above me, the gentle breezes in my hair as I sit on my porch.
How blessed I am to live where I do.
I have learned to notice the beauty around me and in me.
These are the best gifts I have ever received.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Take Care,
Janet :)
