My Cat Knows

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well, I am doing good. Today I had a Great Birthday, my husband let me sleep in and he drove our son to school. When I woke up there was a Dunkin Donuts coffee in the fridge for me. He is the best hubby! Tomorrow I am having dinner with Larry my father in law and Christa and Dana and Briana. Christa and Briana are coming over early in the morning so I get to play with her all day!! Today though while I was working for a short moment a thought came to me. It was 45 years ago today my mother held me for the first time. I don't know where it came from, I think it was her in a way reaching out to me to say Happy Birthday. I hid it from everyone, then when my hubby went to bed I sat out on my porch and let the tears out about that thought. Then when I felt better I came inside and sat on the couch to watch TV. My cat came up right away and sat by my side. She never does that this early in the night, she usually cuddles with me in the early morning hours. Our pets can be our best friends, they instinctively know when we need them. Today I am convinced of a spiritual connection between
human and animal, in other words our connection to our pets.
Thanks for visiting my blog,
Take Care,
Janet :)

Happy birthday! Sorry the Sox didn't give you the birthday present you should have had...a World Series appearance. Gah! Next year, totally next year.

  4. I'm not sure if it's that the pets know when we need some special attention from them or if God uses them to comfort us when needed but I definitely believe our pets somehow know when we are down and need them.
