Take Flight My Friends

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well. I am doing good. Except this week my son and I were in a car accident. We are ok, but my car may wind up being totaled. I had picked him up from school
and on the way home we were behind a bus. The bus kept stopping and so did we. One time though the person behind me stopped paying attention and did not stop. She hit me so hard I rear ended the truck ahead of me. My car has major damage. I can't thank God enough that we did not get hurt. A little shaken up, but that is to be expected. The only good thing to come out of it so far is my rental car. I got a Toyota Prius, it is a hybrid. It gets like 50 miles to the gallon and it drives really good. It is also a pretty light blue color. Tonight I have two things to share with you all. I found this inspirational saying that I really liked. I hope it lifts your spirits. I also want you to give the link below a click. Thank you Donna G my co worker who sent it to me in an email. If you want to fly like a bird, you will really enjoy this. My computer is a little slow because it is older, and I still enjoyed the ride. Thanks for visiting my blog,
Take Care,
Janet :)
Steps to Happiness Everybody Knows:

You can't be all things to all people. You can't do all things at once.
You can't do all things equally well. You can't do all things better than everyone else.
Your humanity is showing just like everyone else's.
So You have to find out who you are,
and be that. You have to decide what comes first, and do that.
You have to discover your strengths, and use them.
You have to learn not to compete with others,
Because no one else is in the contest of *being you*.
Then: You will have learned to accept your own uniqueness.
You will have learned to set priorities and make decisions.
You will have learned to live with your limitations.
You will have learned to give yourself the respect that is due.
And you'll be a most vital mortal. Dare To Believe: That you are a wonderful, unique person. That you are a once-in-all-history event. That it's more than a right,
it's your duty, to be who you are.
That life is not a problem to solve, but a gift to cherish.
And you'll be able to stay one up on what used to get you down.

  2. I've read this post second, as I'm catching up on your posts from top downward (just to be difficult) and I see we both have car issues - your one much more dangerous than mine. Glad you're ok
