2008 A Year in Review from My Point of View.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all have a Happy New Year. I am personally glad to see 2008 become history. To much loss this year for me. I am looking forward to a fresh start in 2009. I wrote a little something that I think you can relate too. I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for visiting my blog,
Take Care,
Janet :)

2008 a Year in Review from My Point of View.

News on a daily basis was full of story's that were depressing,
Recession which we were living in was finally acknowledged by the congression.
Mortgage companies, left the middle class with pennies.
When their money they could not receive, A bailout they cried in grief.
The Auto makers decided to join in, yet they could not sacrifice flying in
their private jets.

In a year of the highest unemployment, many American had no enjoyment.
In a year that many lost their home. To their rescue who will come?
Yet in the end, the bailout will be on the poorest of women and men.

The only ray of light for 2009 is Barack Obama. I hope he can live up to
his Karma. America needs him now more than ever. He has inspired us to look
forward to a new era. His Karma of hope and better days, have carried us through
these sad days. So goodbye to President Bush and the long dark days of 2008.
I hope for many days of sunshine in 2009.

  4. Happy New Year Janet ~ I hope that many people like you will find happiness and sunlight in 2009. I agree, let's hope that Barak Obama will, through his spirit, change things around.

What will help is if the people in control realise that thier personal power must never be tainted by greed.
