America's New Awareness

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well, I am doing good. I have been around entrecard blogs and I have seen alot written about our Historical Election on Tuesday. I think the words spoken by Barack Obama himself speaks volumes of my fellow Americans in more than one way. "I am asking you to believe. Not just in my ability to bring about real change in Washington..I'm asking you to believe in yours." I feel these words not only speak of how we wanted change within our country, but how changed as human beings. We chose not to play it safe, and choose what we have always known. We chose to take a risk, and embrace what we thought we never would. Yes we woke to a new day. I feel we have awoken to a new awareness. As Eckhart Tolle said in his book A New Earth, people right now need to evolve or die. He means that on a conscious level, that we need to be aware of what we have been taught to think and feel aka the ego. What we have been taught throughout the years is prejudices, hate, war, and violence and intolerance. We need to let that way of thinking die, because when we live in that mindset, we are not truly living and loving people unconditionally, which I feel is what we are here to do along our journey. I have to be honest at first I did not embrace him because I was thinking through the ego. I am not a prejudice person, I have never judged a person for their color, but only for the person they are. I have also been raised to fear what's different. I just started listening to him a few weeks ago. The more I listened the more I fought through the ego, or as some say those old tapes in your head and I saw him in another state of awareness. In that state I saw a truly great man. I am humble to see most of my fellow Americans do the same. They may have chose him for different reasons. Some may not even realize they have grown as a person, doing what they did. But they did evolve, they did grow. I pray the Angels keep the Obama's safe from those who do not embrace them. I think they are better than Camelot. I see a man who truly, truly loves his wife and children, far from John Kennedy's treatment of his wife. Thanks for reading my take on things. Thanks to all of you who voted.
Talk to you soon,
Take Care,
Janet :)

  3. That's spot on for me Janet! By the way, thank you for visiting my chat robot...I have programmed in some of your words about Eckhart Tolle and I'd love it if you could test it out to see if it sounds fine...perhaps you could ask it some other questions also...

Neverthless I so agree with you about Barack O - I hope he is strong enough to carry all the expectations that are now directed onto him and I hope that everyone realizes that they must also work to achieve those goals and not just stand back and expect him to work miracles by himself.

    :)
