25 Years Ago Today

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well, I am doing good. Today is a special day for me. It was 25 yrs ago I gave birth to my sweet daughter who brought me so much happiness. I had to write a poem for her. One song I always sang to her that I did not put in the poem is My Girl, she did all the things in that song for me and still does today. This is also for all of you who have that special girl in your life.
Thanks for visiting my blog,
Take Care,
Janet :)

25 years ago today you
came into my life,
Although at first I did
not realize. My soul you
did revive.

As you grew, I did too.
Many a mistake I made
being so young, I wish I
could take away, but you
gave me unconditional

I remember all the fun times,
dancing to sweet child of mine.
You became a fan of madonna,
and Micheal with one glove,
watching videos with me and dancing,
to dress you up to my love, and don't
give it up until you get enough

When you were ready to leave,
I was not ready that the time had
come and without you I was not ready to be.
I cried for a week straight, but knew
you would be ok. You found a good man,
who I love and adore, and then you gave
me more. A beautiful granddaughter
who's laughter I adore.

So Happy Birthday Dear Christa,
If I don't say it enough, you and
Scotty are a special love. That
God sent me from above.
