Be Your Moon

Hello, Beautifully said, and don't we all need someone like this in our lives! I am lucky enough to have a husband who is also my Moon, now more than ever.
Thanks for visiting,

  1. Who doesn't want a moon like that to take care of them during their darkest moments. I wish i had one such person like moon to take care of me and be there for me.

  5. I have been thinking a lot about this post. How many times have we, as soul seekers, take the criticism of people in our lives that are not our moon? AND.. with that said, how much damage and harm have we done to ourselves because we thought we were wrong or bad, judged by people that had their own selfish intentions? Totally a separate post, but what if we only gauged what matters most based on the good people in our lives??? Thanks Janet!!

  6. I'm so glad you were thinking about this post in the way you did, you are so insightful and so right! How much time and energy have all of us wasted not basking in that moonlight of people who truly love us, instead allowing our souls to be "eclipsed" in the darkness of those selfish, hurtful people. If this inspires you for a post on your blog, feel free to share it and write more on it because you always inspire me and so many others with your gift of insight!
    Big {{Hugs}} to you,
    love ya :)

  7. Eclipsed in the Darkness. It is brilliant. In theory, our early role models like parents, older or younger siblings, teachers, etc are our sun, moon, our world. I know I have placed a lot of stock on what they thought of me, since I "looked" up to them. Even now, almost 40, I find myself thinking, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME THAT THEY DON'T LOVE ME"? However they are broken people as well. Much food for thought Janet! Moon people shine light in the darkness. Eclipse people block out the light. Reasons unknown, and not really our issue. We can always move away from it, and find that sliver of light.

Man..too much insight for me this early morning!

  8. That is exactly what we are conditioned and taught to do from childhood without even realizing it, we give the power of our self worth I guess you would say, over to all these people in our lives, and yes I too at 48 still do sometimes, and like you say, I have to remind myself they have their own issues and I have to take that power away. I know we got pretty deep this morning LOL! I think I'll just veg out for the rest of the day :)
