Devastating News

Hello, Tonight my family and I received some devastating news. My brother in law of 29 yrs, Tom has inoperable liver cancer and has only about 4 months, maybe a little longer to live. He is only 57 yrs old. This is going to be especially hard on my father in law who is 86 yrs of age, I worry that this will take it's toll on him. Never mind what it will do to my husband, losing his only sibling. I have never written about Tom because he never really came up in one of my posts, funny now that I think about it. So let me share some things about this wonderful man with you now. My mother in law Elsie told me that Tom was the type of kid growing up that would order the cheapest thing on the menu, he did not want you to spend your money on him, while my husband would order lobster! Tom has always been very independent and hard working. He took good care of his wife and son. He was later divorced, but then he met someone again and is living with her now, her name is Janet too. Tom has always been so sweet to me, to our kids, and in general he is like that with everyone. He would always remember to send or come by with a card and gift for the kids for their birthdays and special occasions. When we all get together, we always have a lot of laughs, he has a great sense of humor too. And through the years he has remained my husbands best friend. Up until this summer when Tom started getting sick, they would go on Motorcycle rides just about every Sunday together. It seems like it was just yesterday my mother in law Elsie left us, but it has been 4 yrs already. The only thought that brings me any type of comfort right now is thinking that Elsie is up in heaven preparing a beautiful garden for her and Tom to be reunited in, just as beautiful as the gardens she made here on Earth.
Thank you so much for visiting,
Love ya,
Janet :)
