Dare to Join The Dance of Transformation

Hi Everyone, Happy Saturday! Today I wanted to share with you #18 of the 365 Ways To Live the Law of Attraction. It is simple thinking, but this book helps guide you to this simple thinking with history from ancient practices. I know we all feel the struggle to stay positive with our thoughts with what daily life puts upon us. But I believe if we take just a small moment in each day to check ourselves and our thoughts we will probably find we are focusing on the negative of certain situations. It's just those old tapes running in our heads again. I know it happens to me and when I catch myself doing that lately I immediately take the time to think of something good, something lately that has made me happy. Soon I notice I am feeling more upbeat, definitely more positive. So take the time in the stress of the day and focus on one good positive thing and before you know it, you will be joining the Dance of Transformation as they say! You will get back what you put out, and that can only be a good thing right?
Thanks for visiting my blog,
Have a Great Day!
Love ya,
Janet :)

Like the Hindu God Shiva Nataraja, who dances the Universe into creation and destruction, you can change your destiny by destroying patterns of negative thought and replacing them with positive thinking and feeling. Shiva's dance destroys ignorance and awakens the latent divine force of Kundalini, the sacred energy that conveys mortal consciousness to a state of Enlightenment. Through your powerful intentions and aligned with the Law of Attraction, perhaps, you too, will awaken from the dark slumber of unintentionally attracting what you don't want to, instead, drawing into your life what you do want. There is enormous power in every moment of every day to change your patterns of thinking, and thus, the potential for future karmic ramifications of your thoughts, words and deeds

Too Tru

Hi Everyone, Hope your having a good weekend. I decided this week to post a couple of funny clips from Worlds Dumbest!! They usually have marathons on Sunday's and I get quite a few laughs from watching the shows, I know, terrible of me to enjoy others misfortunes, especially when I just posted about the teachings of Buddha! But we all need entertainment now don't we?? I was sitting on my front porch all dressed and ready for court, waiting for a taxi when I turned on my cell phone and luckily there was a voice message from my lawyer saying I didn't have to appear this morning, that my date was changed to mid September, so I feel a little relieved and then I almost felt like I could have napped the day away, catching up on sleep :) I just really wanted to be here for Scotty when school starts, so much stuff goes on. So I guess asking Karma for some slack worked so far?? I Hope you liked the Simon Webbe video, he is from England and is back now recording an album with his group called Blue. He has a website with more great music, just google his name if you want to hear more. Sorry I could not cut out, "My Hump" cant understand how that was a hit LOL!! Maybe I am showing my age?
Thanks for visiting my blog,
Love ya,
Janet :)

20 Words To Change Your Life Edited

Hi Everyone, How are ya, I'm doing ok. I haven't been eating and sleeping like I should, I just want this month over with for the first time in my life, which I find hard to believe myself, loving summer as much as I do, but I have to much to deal with. I needed some uplifting today and I found this 20 words video on Youtube, Love it!! I hope it inspires or helps you through your day too. I am uncertain about tomorrow when I go to court. I don't know if I am going to be sent away again right away to rehab for two weeks, so If I don't blog for a little while you will know why. I am going to ask for some time to get some things together, mostly for my son who will be going back to school on the 1st of September. And to just prepare myself. Although two weeks ought to be a piece of cake after doing 27 days!! The other day my counselor made a good point, why would a rehab take me in when I am sober and there are so many people who are not and are in need of a bed instead of me?? There are only so many beds in each place. And I can't see how my insurance is going to pay for a second trip that is not necessary within a matter of two months, insane I say!! They'll probably send me the bill right? like that will get paid soon, not! I know I have to pay for the things I have done, but as my Father always said and even my hubby say's if it wasn't for bad luck I would have none at all!! So Karma, it's time to stop kicking my ass, time to be good to me, I have straighten out, I work hard everyday on myself and to be better towards everyone and everything in life. But I am human, and some day's my attitude does slip back into resentment and anger, (as all of you can see by reading my last post) but not so much anymore, so Karma cut me so slack already! Ok, feel better now, got that out there, hope it doesn't backfire on me LMAO!! I'll just end my pity party here :) I hope to talk to you all sooner than later. Thanks for all your continued support, It means the world to me now more than ever.
Have a great day,
I truly love you all,
Janet :)

Sing it for me John :)

Nothing But Trouble

Hi Everyone, I hope your well, I had the night from hell. Work sucked with my boss and then I got pulled over on the way home. I don't even want to look at the ticket yet. I was going 85 I guess in a 60 mile an hour zone. Dad was right, I need to slow down, I had just been working until close and was anxious to get home and unwind. I swear sometimes I am working my ass off to get things done and then you miss one call because your walkie is turned down low and they accuse you of goofing off. I don't have anyone around me most nights to be goofing off with and the ones who are goofing off get away with it. There is nothing that pisses me off more than being accused of doing something I am not. And if I am accused enough I will go out and do what I am accused of just to prove the asshole right. And I swear some day's trouble finds me. I mean no harm to anyone. Yet I wonder is Karma showing me something I may not be noticing because it keeps biting me on the ass. I don't know all in all it just was a sucky night. At least at the end of the day there is me time, Dave Letterman, some potato skins to munch on and a cocktail if needed LOL! Music to listen to as I drift off to sleepy land and escape disturbia!!
Thanks for visiting my blog,
Love ya,
Janet :)

It's a thief in the night to come and grab you
It can creep up inside you and consume you
I gotta get out or figure this shit out
It's too close for comfort, oh
Release me from this curse I'm in

2008 A Year in Review from My Point of View.

Photobucket

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all have a Happy New Year. I am personally glad to see 2008 become history. To much loss this year for me. I am looking forward to a fresh start in 2009. I wrote a little something that I think you can relate too. I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for visiting my blog,
Take Care,
Janet :)

2008 a Year in Review from My Point of View.

News on a daily basis was full of story's that were depressing,
Recession which we were living in was finally acknowledged by the congression.
Mortgage companies, left the middle class with pennies.
When their money they could not receive, A bailout they cried in grief.
The Auto makers decided to join in, yet they could not sacrifice flying in
their private jets.

In a year of the highest unemployment, many American had no enjoyment.
In a year that many lost their home. To their rescue who will come?
Yet in the end, the bailout will be on the poorest of women and men.

The only ray of light for 2009 is Barack Obama. I hope he can live up to
his Karma. America needs him now more than ever. He has inspired us to look
forward to a new era. His Karma of hope and better days, have carried us through
these sad days. So goodbye to President Bush and the long dark days of 2008.
I hope for many days of sunshine in 2009.

Karma for Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well, I am doing good. Today reminded me of the day I watched O.J. Simpson found not guilty in the double murders of Nicole Brown, and Ron Goldman. I was in complete and absolute shock that the jury was so blinded to the evidence by race. Then a Judge gave him custody of the children who were inside of the house and could have found their mother like that. No wonder he feels he is above the law. I feel so sorry for those two kids. I found this poem and I think Nicole would express her thought on today's sentencing similar to these words if she could. Back to loving-kindness next blog.

KARMA
by Phyllis V. Du'Gas

"What goes around will come back"

Life is filled with currents
At different times and degrees
Like the swaying of a tree
Like the tide to the sea

Like the love you found in me
Words written and spoken
To my heart you brought sorrow
It was all a lie
when you promised me tomorrow

You were never free
To follow through or plan
You belong to another
You’re somebody else’s man

You can’t have your cake
And eat it too
I’m not your baby
And I’m not your boo

This woman deserves more
than good times and lust
You breached my trust
There’s no need to cuss

We all have to live with our Karma
