I got you

Hi Everyone,
I made this video to dedicate it to anyone who has suffered from a mental illness or watched their loved one suffer. Whitney's beautiful spirit shines through on this song. Remember to all my friends I got you. Enjoy and share if you would like too.
Thanks for visiting my blog,

Stigma No More

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are doing well, I am doing good. I have decided to start another blog. http://stigmanomore.blogspot.com/. It is called Stigma no more. I have personally been an advocate for people who suffer from mental illness. Most of you that visit this blog know my mothers story. I have my own Panic Disorder and so does my daughter. We are lucky we just take a pill and it goes away and we can live normal lives. My biggest fear growing up was that I would inherit my mothers disease and go through what she did. Luckily that is not the case. I still have a close relative who is not as lucky and me and my daughter. This person is struggling with Bipolar disorder and after their recent breakdown it made me realize that there is still such a stigma attached to mental illness. I will share information about the different mental illnesses and their treatments. I would encourage anyone to feel free to share their story and I will post it if you want me to. I may not make a big difference, but I feel I need to start somewhere to help end this stigma. I also hope to help people who feel they are alone or need support.
Thanks for visiting my blog,
Take Care,
Janet :)

Suicide Prevention

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are doing well. I am doing good. I came across this cause at my friend Kim's blog http://www.kimmysharinglight.com/. I encourage anyone who has a blog or a social network to post about this cause. I have personally lost friends throughout my life that needed support at a certain time in their life and were not able to receive it. I almost lost a family member as well. In my mother's memory I will never stop advocating for people who have a mental illness or emotional problems so in some way I can help end the stigma that still exists today.
Thanks for visiting my blog,
Take Care,
Janet :)
