Let The Clouds Pass Over

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are doing well. I am doing good. I really loved
this loving kindness meditation. Have you ever noticed that
the sky isn't hurt by the clouds that pass by? Weather
the day is gray and bleak, or bright blue with wispy tenfrills
of clouds, the sky remains unchanged. We can learn to be this
way with our own feelings. No matter what's going on around us,
through the cultivation of awareness and mindfulness of the
moments we can establish a place within us that is stable,
unchanging. The next time the world around you is in disarray,
simply say to yourself this loving kindness meditation. "May
I find a place of stability and stillness within myself" If
you stay focused on this intention you will find calm in our
ever changing world.

Happy Birthday Karen

Hi Everyone,
Feburary 17th is my sisters birthday who I love so much and I wanted to dedicate this post to her, I wish I could do more for her as she has done so much for me and my family. I would not be the person I am without her in my life. So from my heart I wrote a simple poem.

Happy Birthday to the best sister in the world. You have always cared for me, when at times it was undeserved. You were the oldest when things in our house got heartbreaking, but you kept on caretaking. Your words were little, but your example said it all. Pick yourself up and carry on, love and forgive and move on. Appreciate each day as you never know what will come your way. Family is precious, embrace them and their faults, for in the end family is what matters most of all. Happy Birthday Karen and thank you so much for all you did for Mom and Dad and continue to do for us. You are truly an Angel on Earth and we are blessed.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well. I am doing good. Yesterday was the most inspirational day I have ever felt as an american, as a human being. As I watched the day unfold I felt as if the whole world was renewed in spirit. A spirit of hope, a spirit of unconditonal love for eachother. So many walls were brought down that kept us from truly loving our fellow man. I made a video that I feel expresses how we all felt yesterday.
