Donna, In Memory of Your Mother

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to post this saying in Memory of my co worker Donna Guvermonts Mother. Today is her birthday. She worked at New England Villages for years, I heard she was a great worker, a great mother and a great person. I feel for you today Donna. She died at a young age, I think in her early 50's as did my father who would have been 75 yrs old on the 24th of this month. I know all I heard about her is true, because her daughter Donna is also the Salt of the Earth. So she deserves acknowledgement tonight. I hope you don't mind this Donna, I just felt I should post this for all the support you gave me while my mother's were passing. I think for all she contributed to this life should not be forgotten. You are a testimony to what a wonderful women she was. Because you are the best friend anyone could ask for, the best Mom and the best Wife I am sure. Your caring towards everyone at the Village is your Mom living on in you, she is so proud of you, for she is your Angel on your shoulder.
Take Care,
Janet :)
Do Not Weep by Mary Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep,I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.I am not there,

I do not sleep. Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

  2. This is so beautifully written; it inspires hope and love. What a kind thing to do for your friend and her Mother.

I love this poem by Mary Frye. Once while visiting my Mother, I found it on here desk at her house. I knew she loved it. So I copied it and thought I would read it for her when she passed. It is so beautiful and, like your writing here, it inspires uplifiting hope.

    Thank you my friend,
    Robin

  4. Hi Everyone,
    Thanks for your comments.
D I am glad if I did bring her
back to you. I find talking about them when we need to,brings about smiles, and less tears. Which is what they would want for us.
    Take Care,
    Janet :)
