Hello, Happy Music Monday! I've been enjoying my afternoon walks this weekend listening to this new song by Jennifer Lopez. It has more of her old sound that I like. It's an upbeat song and fun video, so check it out! Oh and I should warn you, you may have the urge to eat heart shaped cookies after viewing LOL!

Cherry Bomb

Do You Like To?

Boogie Woogie? Go With The Flo?, Dance and Sing? Well then, this is the song and video to help you get up and do your thing!! Hi Everyone, I'm trying to motivate you too this Music Monday :) This is a great song to walk or workout to! C'mon now it's easier than you think to walk or do some kind of physical exercise for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Even if you just Dance, you'll begin to feel and look better! And we all know when you look good, you feel good, right? right! I have a shelf in front of my treadmill that I put my laptop on and I watch Music Videos when I walk. Most of them are Madonna videos, because it keeps me motivated to look as good as her when I hit 50! I don't want fat and cellulite taking over my body, no way, no thank you! So get started if you've been thinking about it, once you do it get's easier and easier. And remember it is never to late to be what you might have been! I heard that saying yesterday and it is so true, you can always begin a new you at anytime in your life, don't sit and think about what you could have done, or could be doing, you can still accomplish anything you put your mind to, at any age :)

I Can See Clearly

Hi Everyone, Happy Music Monday! Knowing this week we turn the clocks ahead and we are heading into spring, I am really feeling this song today! I can't wait to get outside for my walks again and possibly some running, now that I have been able to give up the cigarettes! Most of all it's going to be a bright, sun shiny, spring and summer in so many ways, for so many reasons!

California Dreamin

Hello, Happy Music Monday. Living here on the east coast this winter has been tough, as many of you know, so today after hearing of yet another storm this week, I thought it would be a good day to escape the winter blues and do some California Dreamin!! Ya, I think for mental health reasons, I'll be cranking up this song while I walk on my treadmill today!! I love this video too because it show's the 60's era. I know for sure, I would have been a hippie if I was a teenager then:) Enjoy and escape along with me on this cold Monday morning LOL!

Prayers & Paying My Dues

Hi Everyone, Happy Music Monday! This will be my last Music Monday until Nov 22nd or the week after. I have to go away to pay my dues, while I sing the blues!!, beginning next Sunday for two weeks for my mistake (DUI). I also ask for a prayer today as we get the results for a Biopsy that Pete had. I don't want to say exactly what on right now, I will share more if I need too, I hope you understand. Thanks for all your support. Some days Life just don't come easy huh? But as always, I am keeping the faith, working hard on staying strong and positive.

Hi Everyone, I thought I would add a little bit of inspiration on this Monday morning. I love his music too, I did get to see him once in concert too when he came back with this album, great show. I personally think we all need to keep reaching for a higher love in all aspects of our lives, self love, marital love, etc, if we don't, we won't grow. And if it didn't exist we would not yearn for it!

Music Monday

Hi Everyone, Hopefully most of you are off this Monday! I decided to join Music Monday this week so I could share some more of Lifehouse's Smoke and Mirrors Album. I think I am only suppose to post one song, but I could not decide so I am posting the two of them. I chose this All That I'm Asking For video for two reasons, one they haven't made one yet for this song, and two because it is a song about love, and love should not discriminate. Kuddos to this video maker! I highly recommend getting this new album from them. I don't think there is a song on it I don't like, which is rare. Their music combines great sounds and deep meanings that just blow me away. Seriously! For example when I walked yesterday I was listening to In Your Skin, and all of sudden I realized I was walking pretty fast, I think I went from 3 to 10 mph!(All the caffeine I drink doesn't hurt either!)and then when I snapped out of my trance, like in my gray days LOL! I had gone from here to there without any effort, so I had a laugh for myself to boot! So I hope in some small, very small way I'm sure, I help make your Monday a little more enjoyable with music.

Celebration Madonna

I'll Remember

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are doing well. I am doing good. I chose this song for Music Monday because last night when I was posting my I got you video on my other blog, I began to remember my Father. He was a good man who set a great example for my siblings and I. He taught by example not to give up on someone you love when they are at their worst. That to find the good in your life no matter what. It brought me to tears even now 22 years after his passing. I miss you Dad, Thanks for sticking by mom and all of us when most men would have left. I will remember you in everything I do.

Music Monday

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are doing well, I am doing good. When Michael Jackson passed away this June I had never heard this song to the best of my memory. When they released the rehearsal tape of him on June 23rd Christa and I loved the song he was singing and the people he was performing with. So I thought it was part of his new stuff coming out. Then I was talking with my sister and she said it was a song off his History Album. I realized then that I let the media influence me about what could now be false accusations and I stopped listening to his music. Although I would have waved both sides if the media gave them to us all but, Martin Berkshire of 20/20 would always turn every thing Micheal said into something dirty and Micheal said that to his face. I truly believe now that Neverland was meant to be a place of love that embraced childhood, then a few people decided to cash in. I know you should not sleep in a bed with other people's children but I can't help but wonder now was it just his way of showing love to all children, may not be right in our book,but I think he really meant it to be innocent. After the trial he never returned to Neverland. Anyway I can see why he kicks ass in this song, I would have too if I was innocent of something. I could not get the lyrics. I am looking forward to seeing the full rehearsal released in October. FYI to all the Martian's out there Madonna has grabbed her crotch while singing as well LOL!.

Music Monday

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well. Before I hit the hay I have not forgotten about Music Monday. My sister Karen introduced me to The Dave Matthews Band. I have grown to love their music plus everything they do. They give back so much to their workers and society, Dave Matthews pays for all of his workers kids college education and everything on their website that you buy is Donated to a charity, for example if you buy a pair of his shoes, a pair of shoes will be donated to a child who needs shoes. So this Monday Music I want to share another one of their songs from the new album, It is titled Spaceman. I love the last line when he sings "I thought I saw a spaceman trying to get laid" He is also a comic I think he was poking fun at the lady astronaut who drove for miles in a diaper to get rid of her lovers new lover

Bye Bye Love

Hi Everyone,
Happy Music Monday, Hope you are all doing well. For some reason this song came into my head to use for this Monday. I loved it as a kid. My favorite line is substitution mass confusion clouds inside your head. I could relate, my head often felt like that growing up and some days now as well LOL!! I could not find the original MTV video, not even on their website. But this live one is pretty good. You don't hear good ol rock and roll like this anymore. I am really showing my age now. Hope your week is off to a good start.

Music Monday

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are doing well, I am doing good. I chose this song by Train for this Music Monday. I heard it the other day in the store and it reminded me of my friend Donna. It was on her cell phone and during the time I would call her phone it was the same time that my mother was in the nursing home and very sick. It always inspired me to do just that, I called upon the Angels constantly during that time. I even kept a book about which Angels to call upon for different needs in our lives at the nursing home. I know now my mother is among the Angels. This beautiful video is for all of us who believe in Angels.
